Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation is seeking a senior professional to review and challenge credit decision strategies across Consumer Lending products. You will help establish governance, control limits, and risk appetite alignment across marketing, originations, account management, and collections.

You will participate in governance forums and manage policy maintenance, training, and reporting, coordinating with business units and stakeholders to enhance credit decision strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business; or equivalent education and related training.
• 7 years of credit related experience including underwriting/credit approval, documentation skills, modeling skills and problem loan experience.
• 7 plus years of related experience, including consumer, small business, credit card, mortgage and wealth

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement credit policies, guidelines, and procedures with BU and first/second lines of defense.
• Promote consistency of credit culture and lending strategies across the organization.
• Provide oversight to BU leaders to ensure asset quality and manage risk concentrations.
