Brown Gibbons Lang & Company (BGL) in Chicago is seeking an Investment Banking Senior Analyst to support the Consumer Team in transactions, analysis, and client relations. The role focuses on M&A advisory across branded consumer, eCommerce, and Food & Beverage sectors, with an emphasis on market research and deal execution.

Responsibilities include preparing proposals, financial models, due diligence, and marketing materials, while collaborating with senior bankers to drive business growth.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of previous experience in M&A Investment Banking.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting.
• Sell side M&A experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting and financial modeling.
• Proven track record of transaction execution including presentations, financial analysis, transaction marketing documents and preparation of other materials.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Superior work ethic and organization skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
• Ambitious team player.
• SIE, Series 63 and Series 79 licenses.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary processor of transactions and proposals.
• Supports senior bankers in transaction execution and client management.
• Performs financial analysis.
• Conducts industry research and business due diligence.
• Assists senior bankers with new business development.
• Participates in marketing efforts; Develops offering presentation materials.
