Job summary

Brown Gibbons Lang & Company (BGL) is seeking an Investment Banking Associate for its Industrials Team, open to Cleveland, OH or Chicago, IL. The role supports senior bankers in execution, modeling, and client management within the M&A space.

Candidates should have 3+ years in M&A investment banking, a business/finance/ accounting degree, and strong communication skills. Sell-side experience is a plus, with a focus on rigorous analysis and presentation materials.

The Industrials Team at Brown Gibbons Lang & Company (BGL) is seeking an Investment Banking Associate. BGL's growing Industrials team focuses on several key areas: Aerospace & Defense, Automotive & Automotive Aftermarket, Building Products, Engineered Equipment, Engineered Materials, Industrial Technology, Industrial Distribution and Metals Processing / Advanced Manufacturing. This opportunity is open to either our Cleveland, OH or Chicago, IL office.

Responsibilities

• Supports senior bankers in transaction execution and client management

Qualifications

• Three or more years of previous experience in M&A Investment Banking
• Bachelor's Degree required (majoring in Business, Finance or Accounting)
• Sell side M&A experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of accounting and financial modeling
• Proven track record of strong transaction execution including presentations, financial analysis, transaction marketing documents and preparation of other materials
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong work ethic and organization skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines

Full-Time Salary Range

$175,000-$225,000 USD
