Job summary

ARMStrong Insurance Services is seeking a Consumer Collections Specialist to contact consumers about past-due accounts, negotiate payment plans, and maintain accurate records in a compliant manner. This role supports debt recovery across B2B and consumer channels with emphasis on regulatory adherence and customer service.

Responsibilities include making multiple contact attempts via phone, email, and mail; negotiating plans; documenting updates; and meeting performance goals while upholding

Qualifications

• Previous collections or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to remain professional and empathetic during challenging conversations.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems.
• Bilingual skills are a plus, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Contact consumers via phone, email, and mail regarding past-due accounts.
• Negotiate payment plans in accordance with company policies.
• Document all communications and account updates accurately.
• Adhere to federal and state collection laws, including FDCPA.
• Meet performance goals and maintain high customer service standards.
