Job Shop is recruiting for a Warranty Manager who wants to make an Impact Through Service, Solutions & Customer Care Pay: $55K - $60K Where: Evans, GA Job Summary We are seeking a Warranty Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding post-purchase service needs, repairs, and warranty-related concerns. This role is responsible for evaluating requests, coordinating repairs, communicating with customers and service providers, and ensuring issues are handled efficiently from start to finish. The ideal candidate is friendly, professional, organized, and solutions-oriented, with the ability to remain calm and helpful when working with frustrated customers. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and taking ownership of their responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary contact for customers regarding service and warranty-related questions and concerns.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries by phone, email, text, video, and in person.
- Evaluate customer requests and determine whether issues fall within applicable warranty guidelines.
- Schedule, coordinate, and follow up on service requests through completion.
- Communicate with contractors, service professionals, field personnel, and other team members to coordinate repairs.
- Inspect properties to identify workmanship concerns, defects, and potential warranty issues.
- Review repair requests and determine appropriate next steps based on established warranty standards.
- Clearly communicate warranty decisions and coverage information to customers, including when a request is not covered.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service requests, inspections, and resolutions.
- Monitor outstanding service requests and ensure appropriate follow-up until completion.
- Handle customer concerns and complaints with patience, professionalism, and a solutions-focused approach.
- Identify recurring issues or quality concerns and communicate them to the appropriate team members.
- Perform additional administrative and customer service duties as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent judgment and decision-making abilities.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Self-motivated and able to take ownership of responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Ability to remain professional and composed when handling difficult or stressful situations.
- Comfortable interacting with a variety of customers, contractors, and professionals.
- Experience in customer service, scheduling, quality control, property management, construction, home repair, maintenance, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of residential construction, home maintenance, or repair processes is a plus.
- Ability to conduct property inspections and travel locally as needed.
