Quality Talent Group is recruiting a Utility Operator for a fast-paced construction environment, supporting safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment and utility systems. Responsibilities include operating loader, backhoe, and skid steer, performing groundwork and site duties, and maintaining safety and cleanliness.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and basic mechanical aptitude, with strong problem-solving and communication skills to thrive under pressure

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience operating utility systems preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and follow safety policies

Responsibilities

• Operate loader, backhoe, and skid steer safely and efficiently
• Perform groundwork and general labor tasks
• Follow road construction best practices and maintain site awareness
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues as needed
• Monitor utility systems and adjust for efficiency
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies
• Assist with additional duties as required
