Job summary

Quality Talent Group seeks a proactive Utility Operator to support safe and efficient operation of on-site utility systems and equipment. You will operate loaders and small construction machinery, perform groundwork, and ensure site cleanliness while following health and environmental policies.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic technical reading skills, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Experience operating utility systems preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and follow safety policies

Responsibilities

• Operate loader, backhoe, and skid steer safely and efficiently
• Perform groundwork and general labor tasks
• Follow road construction best practices and maintain site awareness
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues as needed
• Monitor utility systems and adjust for efficiency
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies
• Assist with additional duties as required
