Quality Talent Group is seeking a Utility Operator to join a fast-paced production environment supporting safe and efficient operation of equipment and utility systems. The role involves operating loaders, backhoes, and skid steers while performing groundwork and site maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read technical manuals. Safety focus and good communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating utility systems preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate loader, backhoe, and skid steer safely and efficiently
• Perform groundwork and general labor tasks
• Follow road construction best practices and maintain site awareness
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues as needed
• Monitor utility systems and adjust for efficiency
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies
• Assist with additional duties as required
