Job summary

F.A. Wilhelm Construction in Indianapolis is seeking a Training and Development Manager to lead operations training, establish standards, and act as the Procore administrator to improve software usage. This role will also coordinate Wilhelm University and convert manuals into online courses using Articulate.

You will oversee training programs, identify gaps, manage certifications (OSHA, DBIA, LEED, PMP, ISA), and collaborate with HR, IT, and field teams to streamline processes and support growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in construction operations, process improvement, or business administration.
• Experience with Procore required; familiarity with Articulate, DroneDeploy, or similar construction and training software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement company standards, improve workflows, and promote continuous improvement across departments.
• Serve as the primary Procore administrator, train internal and external users, and meet biweekly with Procore representatives to improve software usage.
• Oversee training programs, identify gaps in resources, and develop training opportunities that support employee growth and company needs.
• Organize Wilhelm University materials and templates and turn manuals into online courses using Articulate.
• Support project teams with startup and closeout, contracts, purchase orders, change orders, safety, quality, and insurance processes.
• Track employee certifications (OSHA, DBIA, LEED, PMP, ISA) and coordinate personnel lists with HR, Payroll, and IT.
• Coordinate Operations technology standards, onboarding, hardware/software, jobsite setups, and Drone Deploy initiatives.
• Partner with department leaders to modernize administrative processes and improve communication across the company.
