Job summary

IS International is seeking a Manager of Construction Training in the United States to lead the construction training and certification programs for Technical Field Advisors across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation installation, erection, and cold commissioning of turbine and power equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technical diploma required.
• Minimum 10 years of related construction/engineering experience.
• International business experience desirable.
• Experience with EPC power projects required.
• Experience developing project drawings, procedures, and documents.
• Strong organizational and supervisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction training and certification program for Technical Field Advisors.
• Align training strategy with PMO Training & Certification team leadership.
• Develop and continuously improve curricula for mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and commissioning activities.
• Maintain training materials and certification requirements per standards and drawings.
• Manage competency assessment matrix and records for personnel.
• Develop and maintain software-based training tools (MS Office, SharePoint).
• Lead regular review meetings with stakeholders.
• Create SOPs, work instructions, and best-practice guides.
• Coordinate cross-functional training with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, EHS, and Commissioning.
• Deliver technical training sessions to internal and external audiences.
