Job summary

Citizens Bank is seeking a Construction-to-Permanent (CtP) Lending Program Specialist who will serve as the primary business support resource and subject matter expert for CtP governance, policy management, risk oversight, and operational execution.

You will partner with Sales, Credit Risk, Project Review, Legal, Operations, and Draw Administration to ensure consistent program application and successful loan execution throughout the CtP lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience supporting CtP lending programs and products.
• Ability to hold sales teams and leadership accountable to program requirements.
• Strong organizational, planning, and leadership skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in a matrixed environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative support to Project Review and business partners on loan scenarios, reviews, and draws.
• Collaborate with Credit Risk, Operations, Servicing, Legal, and Sales to keep CtP requirements current and aligned with objectives.
• Evaluate non-standard transactions and requests, offering solutions consistent with CtP policies and risk parameters.
• Maintain CtP certification materials and facilitate training sessions for participants.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted resource across the organization.
• Identify trends, risks, and issues and communicate findings to leadership.
• Maintain and enhance program documentation, procedures, controls, and governance materials.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen program effectiveness and risk management.
