Job description

As a Senior/Lead Business Analyst – Lending Strategy & Execution within our Private Bank, you’ll be a catalyst for operational excellence. You’ll lead initiatives that streamline processes, enhance client experience, and drive scalable solutions across our consumer and business lending products. This role is ideal for a systems thinker with a sharp eye for inefficiencies, a passion for solving complex operational challenges, and the ability to translate strategy into execution. You’ll work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to design, document, and implement process improvements that elevate our lending platform.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end process improvement initiatives across lending operations, from discovery to implementation.
  • Map current-state workflows, identify inefficiencies, and design future-state processes that improve speed, accuracy, and client experience.
  • Collaborate with Product, Credit, Operations, and Sales to ensure alignment and seamless execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Develop clear documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and implementation plans.
  • Facilitate working sessions, gather stakeholder input, and drive consensus on process changes.
  • Monitor performance metrics and feedback loops to ensure continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Support sprint-based execution cycles by coordinating tasks, tracking milestones, and ensuring timely delivery.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, lending operations, or financial services—preferably in high-growth or regulated environments.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, influence without authority, and drive execution through data and logic.
  • Proven expertise in process mapping, root cause analysis, and operational design.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional discussions and drive alignment.
  • Relentless attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with residential lending (mortgage/HELOC). Knowledge in CRE/MF/C&I lending is a plus.

  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Work Schedule: M-F
Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $125,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
