Job summary

Union Savings Bank - CT seeks an experienced professional to manage its construction loan process and build a portfolio of commercial mortgage and construction loan accounts. The role coordinates with accountants, appraisers, architects, attorneys and engineers while underwriting loans in conjunction with Credit Administration.

You will lead multi-party projects, supervise third‑party professionals, prepare monthly loan status reports and develop new commercial real estate relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience managing construction loan processes.
• Ability to interface with accountants, appraisers, architects, attorneys and engineers.
• Underwrite construction loans with Credit Administration.
• Handle multiple complex transactions with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of bank operations and loan policies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction loan process and maintain procedures.
• Coordinate with external professionals on projects being financed.
• Structure, coordinate and underwrite construction loans with Credit Administration.
• Select third party professionals for cost feasibility, budgets and inspections.
• Prepare monthly reports on construction loan status.
• Assist in new loan requests and comply with loan policies.
• Engage with customers throughout application and construction phases.
• Maintain relationships to raise the bank's visibility in the market.
