PCL Industrial Construction Co. in Houston, Texas is seeking a Timekeeper to ensure accurate time and labor records, supporting payroll processes and project compliance.

You will balance timecards, verify new hire docs, and set up hires in timekeeping systems while generating daily and weekly payroll reports with confidentiality and collaboration with payroll teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Some co-op timekeeping or payroll experience is an asset.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and detail orientation.
• Ability to work independently or in a team and handle confidential information.
• Flexibility to mobilize to the site as needed.

Responsibilities

• Record employee call-ins and process time-off requests with accurate attendance.
• Review timecards against gate logs for accuracy and completeness.
• Set up new hires in timekeeping systems and maintain records.
• Prepare and distribute daily and weekly payroll reports.
• Ensure payroll data accuracy and confidentiality across stakeholders.
• Communicate payroll/timekeeping matters with employees and supervisors.
