Job summary

RDO Equipment Co. is seeking a Construction Technology Specialist Level 2 to help customers adopt and optimize construction technology solutions through technical support, training, troubleshooting, and onsite service.

You’ll join a team focused on innovation, customer success, and professional growth while supporting equipment and technology from John Deere, Wirtgen, and Topcon. Travel will be required across the region to install, diagnose, and maintain products.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in construction, technology, equipment, or related industry, with exposure to sales, service, training, or customer support activities.
• Ability to learn, troubleshoot, and support GPS, machine control, construction technology, and other advanced technology solutions.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build relationships, resolve issues, and deliver a positive customer experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to train, support, and collaborate with customers and team members.
• Ability and willingness to travel 35–50% based on seasonal business demands.
• Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide troubleshooting, technical support, demonstrations, and training on GPS, machine control, laser, and other construction technology solutions.
• Install, diagnose, repair, and support construction technology products in the field to maximize customer productivity and uptime.
• Build strong customer partnerships through proactive follow‑up, responsive support, and timely resolution of issues.
• Identify opportunities to grow construction technology, service, repair, and aftermarket business while helping customers adopt technology solutions that improve performance.
• Partner with sales and service teams to support customer success while providing technical coaching and training to technicians and team members across the region.
