Job summary

RDO Equipment Co. in Mills, Wyoming seeks a Construction Technology Specialist Level 2 to help customers adopt and optimize GPS, machine control, and related construction technology.

You will provide technical support, training, troubleshooting, and onsite service to maximize productivity. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in construction or tech fields, strong communication and customer-service skills, and the ability to travel up to 50% as needed.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in construction/tech/equipment with exposure to sales, service, training, or customer support.
• Ability to learn, troubleshoot, and support GPS, machine control, and other construction technology.
• Strong customer service skills to build relationships and resolve issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for training and collaboration.
• Willingness to travel 35–50% based on seasonal demand.
• Must have valid work authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide troubleshooting, technical support, demonstrations, and training on GPS, machine control, laser, and other construction technology solutions.
• Install, diagnose, repair, and support construction technology products in the field to maximize customer productivity and uptime.
• Build strong customer partnerships through proactive follow‑up, responsive support, and timely resolution of issues.
• Identify opportunities to grow construction technology, service, repair, and aftermarket business while helping customers adopt technology solutions that improve performance.
• Partner with sales and service teams to support customer success while providing technical coaching and training to technicians and team members across the region.

What You Will Need:
