Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College is seeking adjunct faculty to teach on an as-needed basis for 8 or 16 week contracts. The role involves creating a learning environment and delivering instruction within the framework of common syllabi provided.

Pay is $45.45 per contact hour. Additional duties include developing course materials, maintaining records, and engaging with students professionally in a supportive workplace.

Qualifications

• Must have a current licensure as Electrical Journeyman or be licensed preferred.
• Demonstrates knowledge of current technologies relevant to the instruction area.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates student learning by delivering assigned classes per policy and course objectives.
• Uses technology to enhance instructional methods.
• Develops/maintains outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, tests, and materials; maintains student records and grades.
