Qualifications

• Meets the required faculty discipline standards or equivalent credentials.
• Possesses recognized journeyman status or certifications linked to the Curriculum of Record (COR).
• Holds a Workplace Specialist License issued by the Indiana Department of Education or is eligible to obtain it.
• Willing to obtain the ASE certification associated with the taught course.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates student learning by delivering assigned classes in accordance with College policy and course objectives.
• Makes optimal use of available technology to enhance instructional methods.
• Develops/maintains course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, tests, and materials; maintains accurate student records and grades.
• Engages with students in productive ways that promote positive learning experiences and active teaching strategies.
• Interacts with students and colleagues professionally and complies with College policies and campus guidelines.
• Ensures knowledge of and implements emergency and safety procedures for classrooms, labs, and learning environments.
