Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana is seeking adjunct faculty to teach in-person on campus. Adjuncts design engaging lessons, deliver instruction, and assess student progress using the program syllabi provided. Classes are offered on an as-needed basis each semester.

Pay is $45.50 per contact hour, with benefits including insurance options, retirement, and tuition remission. Minimum qualifications include a regionally accredited degree in the program discipline and related work experience,

Qualifications

• Possesses an earned baccalaureate or higher degree in technology, engineering, engineering technology, or a directly related program field.
• Five years of directly related work experience linked to the program’s competencies.
• Three years of directly related work experience with an associate or higher degree related to the program’s discipline.

Responsibilities

• Teach in-person on campus.
• Create learning environments that assist students in reaching their goals and provide effective instruction and assessment.
• Submit final grade rosters, grade books, and attendance rosters to division administrators by deadlines.
