Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Multifamily Construction Superintendent in Michigan to oversee daily operations from start to finish. You will coordinate subcontractors, manage schedules, monitor budgets, and maintain safety and quality across large-scale multifamily projects.

Applicants should have 5+ years in multifamily supervision, a construction-related degree, and strong leadership, planning, and communication skills.

Job Responsibilities

• As a Multifamily Construction Superintendent, you will:


• Oversee daily operations of multifamily construction projects from inception to completion


• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards


• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes


• Create and maintain project schedules, coordinating with project managers and other stakeholders


• Monitor project budgets and control costs


• Lead daily meetings with the construction team to review progress and address any issues


• Ensure proper use and maintenance of construction equipment and materials


• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to resolve design and construction challenges


• Implement and enforce safety protocols on the job site

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred


• Minimum of 5 years of experience in multifamily construction supervision


• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, building codes, and safety regulations


• Excellent leadership and team management skills


• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications


• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Proficiency in construction management software and MS Office suite


• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various project sites
