Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Superintendent 1 to plan, manage, and execute all aspects of assigned projects on-site. The role focuses on safety leadership, subcontractor coordination, and maintaining project schedules and budgets under JE Dunn’s standards.

You will lead field operations, collaborate with owners, design teams, and authorities, and ensure quality and timely completion. Travel and non-traditional hours may be required to meet project needs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years construction experience.
• 1+ years field supervision experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture on site and mentor staff.
• Manage subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Coordinate and manage project meetings (daily standups, weekly trades).
• Develop work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Manage project schedule and cost reporting with the Project Manager.
