Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Superintendent 1 for Heavy Equipment Solutions under the Advanced Facilities Group (AFG). You will plan, manage and execute all aspects of assigned projects, oversee material/equipment, people, and documentation to meet schedule and profitability goals.

This role supports safety, quality, and project controls on industrial-scale sites. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of construction experience, 1+ year of field supervision, and a BS in CM/engineering preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1+ years field supervision and 3+ years construction experience.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and ensure an injury-free environment on site.
• Manage subcontractors and coordinate overall job workflow.
• Oversee staff, subcontractors, suppliers and QA/QC programs.
• Develop work plans, schedule and monitor progress and costs.
• Communicate project information to owners, design team and authorities.
