Marand Builders, Inc. is seeking an experienced General Contractor Construction Superintendent to lead field operations for commercial projects from inception to completion.

The role emphasizes safety, schedule, budget, and quality, with oversight of multiple teams and subcontractors. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s in construction management or engineering, 5+ years of ground-up commercial experience, OSHA 30 certification, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years in commercial construction overseeing ground-up healthcare, financial, and light industrial projects.
• Strong leadership and communication with ability to manage multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Construction OSHA 30 within last 5 years or ability to renew.
• Proficient in project reporting software, MS Office, and blueprint reading.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety compliance (OSHA and company) as a top priority.
• Supervise field construction to meet design, budget, and schedule goals.
• Lead weekly on-site meetings with subcontractors and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with project procedures, safety programs, and work rules.
• Maintain health and safety of workers per guidelines and company policy.
• Prepare field and safety reports daily and manage punch lists in Procore.
• Direct subcontractor progress and ensure adequate manpower for schedule.
