Jobot is seeking a seasoned Construction Superintendent for our commercial projects division in Washington, DC. This on-site, permanent role offers a salary range of $120,000 to $150,000 per year and the opportunity to lead ground-up retail, grocery and automotive builds.

You will oversee all project stages, manage subcontractors, coordinate with clients and architects, ensure safety and building-code compliance, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in construction management or related field.
• Proven experience leading commercial construction projects from start to finish.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, quality control, and safety.
• Excellent understanding of local building codes and regulations.
• Problem-solving under pressure with good decision-making.
• Proven scheduling and budgeting capabilities.

We are seeking a seasoned and ambitious Construction Superintendent for our commercial projects division. This role is for a dynamic professional who is proficient in managing commercial construction projects and supervising all development stages. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and a proven track record of completing projects on time and within budget. The Construction Superintendent will be directly responsible for overseeing the construction process, managing subcontractors, working with clients and architects, and ensuring that the project complies with all safety and building codes. This is a permanent position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

• 1. Oversee all stages of project life cycle, managing blueprints, and ensuring that projects are completed within the predetermined timeline and budget.
• 2. Implement a comprehensive project schedule and adjust as needed to ensure timely completion.
• 3. Conduct regular inspections to ensure that the work complies with building codes, quality standards, and the project specifications.
• 4. Manage and coordinate tasks for subcontractors and laborers, ensuring that everyone is working to their full potential.
• 5. Maintain a safe and clean job site, implementing and upholding safety protocols.
• 6. Resolve any issues, problems, or delays that occur on the construction site.
• 7. Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and other stakeholders about project progress and any changes in the plan.

• 10. Handle contract administration, including negotiation and management.
