Job summary

SRE Building Associates LLC seeks a Construction Superintendent to lead field operations, enforce safety, manage subcontractors, and ensure work aligns with approved plans and quality standards.

You will coordinate schedules, communicate progress, and partner with the Project Manager to keep projects on track and built to SRE standards. Experience in residential construction and strong leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of residential construction methods across all phases
• Strong jobsite management, organizational, and field leadership
• Ability to read and interpret Architectural, Structural, and MEP plans and verify subcontractor compliance
• Effective communication to resolve issues and keep work progressing
• Solid understanding of construction safety practices
• Independent problem-solving to adapt to changing conditions
• Ability to collaborate with the Project Manager
• Supervisory experience preferred

Job description

You take pride in running a jobsite where the work is organized, the standards are clear, and no detail gets overlooked. As our Construction Superintendent, you’ll lead from the field with both urgency and sound judgement, keeping subcontractors, inspections, and deliveries moving while making sure the work follows established plans, quality, and safety standards. You communicate clearly and effectively to ensure the job gets done right. What you’ll need to be our Construction Superintendent:

• Demonstrated construction experience with broad knowledge of residential construction methods and workmanship standards across all phases of a project
• Strong jobsite management, organizational, and field leadership skills
• Ability to read and interpret Architectural, Structural, and MEP plans and verify subcontractor compliance with project requirements
• Effective communication skills to resolve issues and keep work progressing towards results
• Solid understanding of construction safety practices
• Independent problem-solving skills to make sound decisions and adapt as project conditions change
• Ability to closely collaborate with the Project Manager
• Supervisory experience, preferred
