Job summary

SRE Building Associates in Colorado is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead from the field, directing daily site activities, enforcing safety, quality, and schedule discipline across residential projects.

You will read Architectural, Structural, and MEP plans, coordinate with subcontractors and the Project Manager, and ensure work meets plans and project specs while upholding SRE standards and a professional, proactive communication style.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of residential construction methods and workmanship standards.
• Strong jobsite management, organizational, and field leadership skills.
• Ability to read and interpret Architectural, Structural, and MEP plans and verify subcontractor compliance.
• Effective communication skills to resolve issues and keep work progressing.
• Solid understanding of construction safety practices.
• Independent problem-solving skills to adapt to changing conditions.
• Collaborate closely with the Project Manager.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Construction Superintendent

You take pride in running a jobsite where the work is organized, the standards are clear, and no detail gets overlooked. As ourConstruction Superintendent, you’ll lead from the field with both urgency and sound judgment, keeping subcontractors, inspections, and deliveries moving while making sure the work follows established plans, quality, and safety standards. You communicate clearly and effectively to ensure the job gets done right. What you’ll need to be our Construction Superintendent:

• Demonstrated construction experience with broad knowledge of residential construction methods and workmanship standards across all phases of a project
• Strong jobsite management, organizational, and field leadership skills
• Ability to read and interpret Architectural, Structural, and MEP plans and verify subcontractor compliance with project requirements
• Effective communication skills to resolve issues and keep work progressing towards results
• Solid understanding of construction safety practices
• Independent problem-solving skills to make sound decisions and adapt as project conditions change
• Ability to closely collaborate with the Project Manager
• Supervisory experience, preferred
