Job summary

SRE Building Associates in Colorado is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead from the field, directing daily site activities, enforcing safety, quality, and schedule discipline across residential projects.

You will read Architectural, Structural, and MEP plans, coordinate with subcontractors and the Project Manager, and ensure work meets plans and project specs while upholding SRE standards and a professional, proactive communication style.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of residential construction methods and workmanship standards.
• Strong jobsite management, organizational, and field leadership skills.
• Ability to read and interpret Architectural, Structural, and MEP plans and verify subcontractor compliance.
• Effective communication skills to resolve issues and keep work progressing.
• Solid understanding of construction safety practices.
• Independent problem-solving skills to adapt to changing conditions.
• Collaborate closely with the Project Manager.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily construction activity and jobsite operations.
• Maintain safe and organized jobsites.
• Coordinate day-to-day jobsite schedules across stakeholders and milestones.
• Ensure completed work meets quality standards and project specs.
• Proactively communicate progress and risks to the Project Manager.
