Job summary

ARaymond is seeking a Business Development Manager - Construction to act as the primary strategic and technical liaison with key clients. The role blends engineering insight with commercial leadership to diagnose challenges and architect tailored solutions from our portfolio or customized offerings.

The incumbent will drive the technical discovery process, clearly communicate complex concepts, and negotiate high-impact deals while mentoring sales and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Business Development or Sales.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering and product development.
• Solid understanding of the construction panelization industry.
• Proven experience engaging with clients and providing tailored solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manages business development and performance of construction segment for local org.
• Provides direction, goals, targets, and mentoring to sales and engineering teams.
• Collaborates with engineering and sales to capture opportunities and define requirements.
• Supports IP portfolio management, product design quality and supplier validation.
• Develops long-term client relationships and leads negotiations from start to finish.
• Communicates technical methodologies to clients and teams; mentors as needed.
• Assists with pricing, costing and forecasting across regions for global products.
• Supports promotions with marketing and prepares local business plans and budgets.
