Job summary

Mortenson is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to coordinate and supervise sub-contractors and craft teams within a construction discipline. The role involves managing labor, certifications, timecards, and safety meetings to ensure on-site progress and quality.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in construction-related fields and at least 3 years of construction management experience, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools. Travel up to 100% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction-related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years construction management or related experience.
• Microsoft Office, project, and relevant web applications proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise craft labor and subcontractors on site.
• Review and approve craft worker certifications and trainings.
• Monitor labor reports and participate in safety meetings.
• Coordinate timecards, hires/dismissals, and POD activities.
• Support schedule development and project managers with updates.
• Ensure quality control of self-perform and subcontractors' work.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience
