Job summary

Mortenson is seeking an experienced Assistant Superintendent to coordinate and supervise sub-contractors and craft teams within a designated construction discipline. This role requires hands-on leadership on the jobsite, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and quality while collaborating with Project Managers.

The position involves reviewing labor reports, approving craft certifications, coordinating equipment and materials, and guiding setup and demobilization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years construction management or related experience.
• Current driver's license.
• Willingness to pursue Master, Journeyman, or Apprentice electrician program.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise craft teams and subcontractors on site.
• Review labor reports and address issues weekly.
• Oversee certifications and trainings for craft workers.
• Participate in site orientation and safety meetings.
• Assist with schedule development and updates with PMs.
• Coordinate equipment and on-site scope of work.
