Job summary

Mortenson is seeking a Superintendent I that will be responsible for coordinating, planning, and supervising assistant superintendents, contractors, and craft activities in a particular area of discipline, while developing and enhancing customer relationships through excellent service.

Lead project schedules, site logistics, and safety/quality controls, mentoring craft teams and coordinating with design engineers. Willingness to travel up to 100% and uphold Mortenson policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in construction-related field or 10 years trade experience.
• Minimum 5 years construction management or related experience.
• Valid driver's license; ability to manage multiple, complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement to ensure all materials, equipment, and inspections support the project schedule.
• Review construction and contract documents for completeness and constructability.
• Coordinate plans and specifications with design engineers, resolving discrepancies.
• Develop and manage project schedules, including three and six-week look-ahead schedules.
• Develop a site logistics plan and lead the utilization of Mortenson tools and equipment.
• Collaborate with project partner superintendents.
