Allied Universal is hiring a Shift Supervisor - Unarmed in Sterling, VA. The role oversees security staff, schedules, and training for a Wed–Sun 2:00 PM–10:00 PM shift with a pay rate of $36.93/hour.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and at least two years of security experience, plus strong leadership and communication skills. The position emphasizes compliance with post orders, safety, and quality of service across the contract, with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current and valid driver’s license required.
• Must possess one of: associate’s degree or higher, military service, auxiliary police/police cadets, or security experience.
• Two years of verifiable work experience with strong customer service.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong planning, organizing and problem-solving skills.
• Coaching, mentoring and motivating abilities.
• Active listening and teamwork oriented.
• Ability to analyze situations and prepare reports.

Responsibilities

• Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders.
• Provide direction and instruction to subordinates regarding performance of duties.
• Cross-training officers to increase versatility and site efficiency.
• Make productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management.
• Make recommendations for security surveys and post orders.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling and on-site training for security officers on shift.
• Ensure contract training and screening elements for security personnel have been met.
• Maintain overtime to minimum or designated level.
• Inspect security personnel and their performance for quality and contract compliance.
• Assist in payroll, review and maintain incident reports, and security surveys.
