Job summary

Innova Solutions is seeking a Construction Site Manager to lead conveyor and material handling installation projects in Seattle, WA. The role is a full-time, contract-to-hire position requiring on-site presence and strong leadership of field crews and subcontractors.

The candidate will read technical drawings, coordinate schedules, manage safety and quality, and drive project reporting using Procore and CRM tools. Experience in industrial construction is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction leadership experience at a supervisor level.
• Strong background in construction, industrial installation, conveyor systems, or material handling.
• Experience leading field crews and coordinating subcontractors on active sites.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and technical docs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations for conveyor and material handling system installation projects.
• Supervise construction crews, trades, subcontractors, and installation teams.
• Coordinate schedules, manpower, subcontractors, and material deliveries.
• Read drawings, blueprints, layouts, specs and installation docs; ensure compliance.
• Monitor installation quality and project requirements; conduct site inspections.
• Track progress, maintain daily reports, field docs, and installation records.
• Utilize Procore, CRM and other construction software for project tracking.
• Coordinate equipment orders, material procurement and onsite logistics.
• Support startup, testing, troubleshooting and commissioning activities.
• Track budgets and resource utilization; facilitate project meetings with stakeholders.
• Enforce site safety policies and resolve field-related issues.

Construction Site Manager - Conveyor & Material Handling Systems

Position type: Full Time, Contract to Hire
Duration: 12 month Contract to Hire as a Salaried Consultant
Location: Seattle, WA

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis.

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Outline key tasks and expectations for the role.
• Lead daily field operations for conveyor and material handling equipment installation projects.
• Supervise construction crews, tradespeople, subcontractors, and installation teams.
• Coordinate project schedules, manpower requirements, subcontractor activities, and material deliveries.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, layouts, specifications, and installation documents.
• Monitor installation quality and ensure work is completed according to project requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and identify potential installation conflicts or project risks.
• Track project progress and maintain accurate daily reports, field documentation, and installation records.
• Utilize project management and reporting tools such as Procore, CRM platforms, and other construction software.
• Coordinate equipment orders, material procurement, and onsite logistics.
• Assist with invoice review and approval processes.
• Support equipment startup, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities.
• Track project budgets, costs, and resource utilization.
• Facilitate project meetings and communicate effectively with project stakeholders.
• Promote and enforce all site safety policies and procedures.
• Resolve field-related issues involving equipment, materials, labor, drawings, and installation requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

3+ years of construction leadership experience as a:

• Foreman
• General Foreman
• Assistant Superintendent
• Superintendent
• Site Manager
• Construction Project Manager
• General Contractor or Specialty Subcontractor Leader

• Strong background in construction, industrial installation, mechanical installation, conveyor systems, or material handling systems.
• Strong background in Conveyor installation/material handling systems.
• Experience leading field crews and coordinating subcontractors on active construction sites.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Experience using project tracking, construction management, CRM, or reporting software.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, email communication, reporting tools, and virtual meeting platforms.
• Experience documenting field activities, tracking progress, and maintaining project records.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Strong leadership abilities with a desire to continue advancing within construction management.
• Ability to work onsite full-time in a fast-paced construction environment.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Airport baggage handling system installation experience.
• Automated warehouse or distribution center construction experience.
• Experience using Procore.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
• Experience with commissioning, startup, or operational readiness activities.
• Construction Management, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related education.

Pay Range & Benefits

Pay Range*: 90k - 130k

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
