Job summary

D7 Pneumatics LLC in Augusta, GA is seeking an On-Site Health and Safety Officer to implement, monitor, and improve safety programs across our job sites nationwide. You will ensure regulatory compliance and foster a culture of safety among employees and contractors.

Responsibilities include conducting safety inspections, delivering toolbox talks, investigating incidents, and maintaining documentation while coordinating with management to drive continuous improvement on site-wide operations.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30hr card for the Construction Industry.
• Current certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED.
• 3–5 years of proven experience in a Health and Safety role, preferably in construction or industrial environments.
• Ability to travel to job sites throughout the country over an extended period.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of on-site operations to ensure OSHA compliance.
• Develop and implement safety protocols, emergency response plans, and risk assessments.
• Provide on-site safety training, toolbox talks, and safety orientations for employees and contractors.
• Observe workers to ensure proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Investigate and report incidents, near misses, and safety violations with corrective actions.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation on safety programs and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as the primary safety contact and coordinate with management for continuous improvement.
