FirstEnergy Corp seeks a Construction Site Coordinator to manage pre-construction through post-construction activities for transmission and distribution projects in Akron, Toledo, or Ashtabula. You will coordinate schedules, materials, staking, and contractor work to ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in Construction Management or 3 years of construction experience, plus strong teamwork and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field required or 3 years of construction experience in lieu.
• Experience in electrical substation and/or line construction preferred.
• Proven teamwork and interpersonal skills to aid in compliance.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Ability to deliver quality work within established deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and supervise pre-construction, construction, and post-construction activities for transmission and distribution projects.
• Foster a high-performing safety culture and apply human performance principles.
• Understand project scopes, CPM scheduling, float, and predecessors.
• Proactively manage scheduled tasks and report progress.
• Develop contractor bid packages and participate in pre-bid meetings.
• Coordinate materials, staking, and site logistics with contractors.
• Inspect work against design and construction standards and manage risks.
• Maintain documentation for meetings and permit copies.
