Job summary

Lee Company is seeking a skilled sheet metal technician to assist journeyman level construction, installation, alteration, and repair of sheet metal products in accordance with blueprints and work orders. You will provide technical guidance to junior staff and ensure safe, accurate execution of tasks on site.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED with at least two years of related experience, and proven ability to read blueprints and troubleshoot HVAC hood assemblies in commercial

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred; 2+ years related experience required.
• Experience assembling hoods and sheet metal HVAC units.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Ability to troubleshoot service issues with systematic, thoughtful solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assist journeyman level construction, installation, alteration, and repair of sheet metal products and equipment.
• Read blueprints, drawings and work orders to determine work sequence.
• Provide technical guidance to lower level employees.

Summary of Job: This position is responsible for assisting journeyman level construction, installation, alteration and repair of sheet metal products and equipment in accordance with blueprints, drawings and work orders; provide technical guidance and direction to lower level employees.

Education and Experience: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent is preferred, 2+ years related experience and/or training is required.

Skills and Abilities: Experience should be related specifically to assembling hoods and sheet metal air-conditioning and heating units. Proven working knowledge and experience in ability to read and interpreter blue prints accurately Ability to troubleshoot service issues with systematic, thoughtful, timely and effective solutions and procedures Demonstrate proper and safe use of tools and related equipment Experience in providing quality, professional customer related services Ability to work and communicate effectively individually as well as in a team environment Ability to handle disruptions in stride with professionalism. Ability to work independently in commercial and construction settings.
