Job summary

Draper & Associates is seeking a detail-oriented Construction Scheduling Consultant to support multiple construction projects from our Atlanta, GA; Fort Lauderdale, FL; or Houston, TX offices. You will implement and monitor project control tools and prepare progress and performance reports to keep stakeholders informed.

The ideal candidate has a building science/construction background with at least two years in the industry, excellent communication, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Associates degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field with a minimum of two years of construction industry experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; highly attentive to detail and able to produce professional written business communication.
• Self-starter who can multi-task and work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Must be able to travel (40%-60%).

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, monitoring, and maintaining project schedules for multiple construction projects of varying sizes and complexity.
• Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to identify tasks, durations, dependencies, and resources for the overall project schedule.
• Monitor project timelines and deadlines.
• Perform schedule reviews and advise on status and actions.
• Walk construction sites to review progress and apply sequencing knowledge to status the schedule.
• Attend project-related meetings where scheduling is discussed.
• Prepare comprehensive progress reports for stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and project teams.
