Job summary

Whiting-Turner Contracting Company in Tennessee seeks a calendar-focused scheduler to support the Schedule Manager across groups and projects. You will develop pursuit, master, and detailed schedules, and enter activities, durations and sequences into Primavera.

Training is provided for Primavera and you will extend skills to other platforms as needed. The role emphasizes schedule updates, reporting, and performance analysis to ensure contract requirements are met, with exposure to cost loading

Qualifications

• College Degree: Construction Management or Engineering (civil, industrial, mechanical).
• Courses in estimating or scheduling recommended.
• 0–2 years scheduling experience acceptable; intern work ok.
• Interest in construction, scheduling, data analytics, BI and visualization.
• CPM scheduling experience is a plus (Primavera P6).

Responsibilities

• Support Schedule Manager with group and project responsibilities.
• Develop pursuit, proposal, master, and detailed project schedules.
• Enter activities, durations and sequences into Primavera.
• Cost loading and data maintenance for schedule activities.
• Prepare schedule update reports and visuals per contract.
• Perform schedule analysis and update CPM with progress.
• Familiarize with other scheduling software platforms as needed.
