Job summary

The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company is seeking a scheduling professional to support the Schedule Manager in developing and maintaining project and pursuit schedules. You will enter activities and durations into Primavera, develop detailed construction schedules, and generate progress reports for contract requirements.

You will become familiar with multiple scheduling platforms, perform schedule analyses, and contribute to data mining and historical metrics to improve project performance.

Qualifications

• Experience with construction scheduling software.
• Ability to develop and analyse project schedules.
• Familiarity with progress reporting and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Support Schedule Manager with group and project-specific responsibilities.
• Develop pursuit and proposal schedules.
• Develop master project schedules.
• Develop detailed construction schedules.
• Enter activities, durations, and sequences into Primavera.
• Learn and use Primavera scheduling software.
• Manage and control schedules.
• Update schedules with progress.
• Prepare schedule update reports and graphics.
• Perform schedule analysis and impact assessments.
• Collect scheduling metrics and create spreadsheets/databases.
• Review schedule quality and health (health).
• Data mining of as-built schedule for historical metrics.
• Perform square footage and quantity take-offs as needed.
• Cost loading of schedule activities and maintain costs.
• Manage Whiting-Turner’s schedule database and Primavera.
• Attend project meetings at sites (WT, Owner, Subcontractor).
• Walk project sites to verify progress and schedule completion.
• Gather lean scheduling information to update CPM.
