Job summary

The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company is seeking a Scheduler in Towson, MD to support the Schedule Manager with group and project responsibilities. You will develop pursuit and master project schedules, and enter activities, durations, and sequences into Primavera P6 with training provided.

You will also expand familiarity with other scheduling platforms and perform schedule updates, reporting, and data visualization.

Qualifications

• College Degree in Construction Management or Engineering (civil, industrial, mechanical, construction) is required.
• Course work in estimating or scheduling recommended but not required; exposure to construction management helps.
• 0-2 years experience in scheduling; internships or related roles acceptable.
• Interest in construction, scheduling, project controls, data analytics, BI, and visualization.
• Experience with CPM scheduling software (Primavera P6 is a bonus) and common MS Office tools; familiarity with Go-To/Teams/Zoom is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Support Schedule Manager with group and project responsibilities.
• Develop pursuit and proposal schedules and master project schedules.
• Develop detailed construction schedules and enter activities, durations, and sequences into Primavera.
• Utilize Primavera for schedule development and become familiar with other scheduling platforms.
• Manage schedule data, updates, and reporting per contract requirements.
• Analyze schedule health, collect metrics, and create dashboards or data views.
