Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Scheduler for the CORE team in Des Moines, IA. The role involves preparing, updating, and reviewing project schedules in collaboration with the project team to ensure on-time delivery of complex industrial and manufacturing projects.

The ideal candidate will have 0–2 years of scheduling experience, strong communication, and proficiency with scheduling software and MS Office. Travel and non-traditional hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field (Preferred).
• 0–2 years scheduling experience.
• Ability to read plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Proficiency with scheduling software.
• Strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, builds and updates project schedules with the project team.
• Performs schedule reviews and communicates comments diplomatically.
• Participates in planning, baseline and ongoing schedule updates.
• Uses JE Dunn scheduling software and supports training.
• Visits job sites to review status and update schedules.
• Supports Lean and Pull Planning alignment.
• Creates reports and performs resource loading when needed.
