Job summary

Gray Construction in Alabama is seeking a Project Scheduler to join our team. You will assist the Lead Project Scheduler and coordinate with site management, project management, and trade partners to plan, sequence, and optimize construction activities.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree with at least 1 year of construction experience and is proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, with a solid understanding of schedule logic and critical path.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction or related field.
• At least 1 year of construction experience.
• Basic understanding of civil, structural, architectural, and MEP scopes and how they affect schedules.
• Ability to understand and utilize schedule software and schedule principles.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Project Scheduler in developing and maintaining the project schedule and coordinate with site management and trade partners.
• Evaluate construction sequencing, plan efficient workflows, and assess schedules for conflicts and safety concerns.
• Review two-to-three-week lookahead schedules, communicate critical path impacts, and prepare time impact analyses as required.
• Continuously learn and develop skills to improve schedule performance and adhere to company policies.
