Job summary

Cumming Group is hiring a Construction Associate Scheduler for a major LAUSD program in Los Angeles, CA. The role focuses on reviewing and analyzing contractor schedules using Primavera P6, creating earned value curves, and generating detailed reports for project leadership.

Qualified candidates have a bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management or related field and at least three years of scheduling experience on large education facilities or public works projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management or related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years full-time paid professional experience scheduling for an Owner or General Contractor, preferably on educational facilities or public works projects.

Responsibilities

• Review baseline P6 schedules to identify missing scope, logic or milestones and analyze critical path.
• Review monthly schedule updates and document slippage and overall analysis.
• Create activity filters, layouts, and bar-charts in P6 to analyze critical path issues.
• Perform QA/QC on contractor schedule submittals for conformance with contract scope and scheduling guidelines.
• Ensure proper use of program-level codes, layouts and reports for data integrity.
• Create Earned Value Curves per LAUSD template guidelines.
• Prepare reports and assist scheduling management as needed.
