Job summary

Cumming Group is seeking a Senior Construction Scheduler in Los Angeles, CA to support education facilities projects. You will interpret drawings, review P6 baselines, and provide schedule analysis and recovery recommendations to leadership.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least six years of scheduling experience, proficiency in Primavera and MS Office, and strong communication skills. This role includes competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.
• Alternative degrees allowed with 2 additional years scheduling experience.
• Minimum 6 years of construction scheduling experience for Owner/GC.
• Proficiency in Primavera latest version and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Ability to work with project teams and staff.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings and develop clear work scope.
• Review P6 baseline schedules and analyze critical path.
• Review monthly schedule updates and document slippage.
• Perform QA/QC on contractor schedule submittals.
• Create Earned Value curves per LAUSD templates.
• Monitor progress and address schedule impacts.
• Prepare reports for Senior Management.
• Visit construction sites and attend meetings.
