Job summary

Cumming Group is hiring a Construction Associate Scheduler in the Los Angeles, CA area to support the Los Angeles Unified School District education program. The role requires strong scheduling skills with P6, MS Office, and the ability to interpret architectural drawings and contract specs.

You will work with project leadership to produce high-quality baseline and monthly schedules for multiple school projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (architecture/engineering/construction management or related).
• Minimum 3 years full-time scheduling experience for Owner or GC, preferably education/public works.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 and MS Office; ability to read plans and specs.

Responsibilities

• Review baseline and monthly contractor P6 schedules; identify gaps and milestones.
• Analyze critical path and schedule slippages; provide written comments.
• Create filters, layouts, and bar charts in P6 to support schedule analysis.
• QA/QC on contractor schedules; ensure conformance with scope and terms.
• Generate Earned Value curves per LAUSD EVA guidelines; assist in reporting.
