Job summary

Cumming Group in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Junior Project Scheduler to support education sector projects. You will assist senior schedulers with baseline and monthly schedule updates using P6, create reports in Excel, and help validate schedules against contract requirements.

Requirements include a bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management, one year of scheduling experience, and proficiency with Primavera P6 and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management.
• 1 year of full-time scheduling experience for an Owner or General Contractor, preferably on educational facilities or public works projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera latest version and MS Office Suite; strong written and verbal communication; ability to build relationships with project teams; excellent organizational and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide scheduling support under supervision for Baseline Schedules and Monthly Schedule updates using LAUSD templates.
• Create and populate schedule-related reports in Excel and P6.
• Develop Earned Value Curves per LAUSD EVA templates.
• QA/QC contractor schedules for conformance with contract scope and requirements.
• Analyze schedules for proper codes, layouts, and reports to ensure data integrity.
• Update master schedule with as-built dates coordinating input from Facilities teams.
