Job summary

Cumming Group is hiring a Construction Scheduler to support Education sector projects in the Los Angeles area, with positions in Woodland Hills and Wilmington, CA. The role requires a strong background in large-scale construction scheduling and cost analysis, using Primavera and MS Office tools.

Travel to multiple sites may be required. Salary ranges from $120,200 to $160,267 per year, with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and PTO.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in project or program scheduling on large construction programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera Scheduling Software and MS Office (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of cost engineering and scheduling theories and practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preparation of project schedules based on defined execution philosophies.
• Perform contractor schedule reviews for conformance and QA.
• Evaluate change orders for impact on budget and schedule.
• Conduct time impact analysis of delays and potential claims.
• Review contractor progress and present findings to management.
• Prepare cost-loaded schedules to support cash flow projections.
