Job summary

Layton Construction in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Scheduler to support the Project Team and ensure alignment with Project Controls standards. This hands-on role interfaces with estimating, design, and construction to manage the project life cycle from estimate through completion.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in construction-related field and 3–8 years of scheduling experience, with proficiency in Primavera P6 or MSP, Bluebeam, Procore, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, architecture, or related field.
• 3–8 years relevant experience.
• Understanding of Earned Value Management System.
• Self-sufficient in document control and office software (Bluebeam, Procore, Microsoft Office).
• Familiarity with scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or MSP.

Responsibilities

• Prepares CPM scenarios for management consideration and final schedule.
• Accumulates historical and forecast data for planning and forecasting.
• Develops understanding of project scopes and contracts.
• Communicates with Owner to ensure satisfaction or corrective action.
• Provides scheduling analysis for delays and impacts to mitigate risk.
• Ensures teams respond to schedule-related risks.
• Documents schedule basis with critical assumptions for internal use.
