Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking an Assistant Scheduler in Reading, PA to support major construction projects. The role focuses on scheduling, coordination, and project controls, with exposure to capital projects, manufacturing, and construction environments.

You will develop schedules in Primavera P6, maintain WBS and activity codes, and generate reports while collaborating with PMs, engineers, and other stakeholders. This is a contract-to-perm opportunity with a 9am–6pm schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in scheduling, coordination, construction, and manufacturing.
• Strong proficiency with Oracle Primavera P6.
• Ability to analyze and communicate project schedule progress.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain level 1 to level 2 schedules in Oracle Primavera P6
• Create Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), activities, and activity codes
• Develop and maintain resource loaded schedules
• Utilize constraints, lags, and leads effectively
• Generate reports, layouts, and filters in Oracle Primavera P6
• Identify schedule drivers, delays, and opportunities
• Responsible for performing quality checks and inspections on project controls deliverables
• Communicate technical progress of project schedules with PMs, engineers and stakeholders for transmission and distribution projects
• Integrate and analyze schedule data from Excel via formulas, pivot tables, macros, Power Query, Power BI
• Identify logic errors, sequencing issues or incorrect durations
• Identify schedule risks and propose mitigation
• Handle multiple schedules across different projects
