Job summary

Waste Pro is seeking a Construction Sales Representative to grow and maintain our market position in the construction and demolition (C&D) industry within a defined territory in the United States. You will build strong contractor relationships and identify opportunities to expand temporary/event revenues.

Using consultative selling, you will negotiate contracts, prepare proposals, and partner with regional and corporate teams to close deals for processing, transport, and disposal of C&D

Qualifications

• AS/BA/BS in business, marketing, or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years in sales/marketing/business development in Waste Services or B2B, with heavy emphasis on commercial sales.
• Consultative/solutions-based selling skills.
• Negotiation, bid responses, contract management, forecasting and reporting.
• Experience in sales generation, customer interaction, presentation, client interaction, negotiation, account management, forecasting, pricing, and sales closure.
• Excellent written and oral communication; organized and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Develops maximum sales volume and profitability within defined territory.
• Manages a list of qualified temporary C&D opportunities.
• Maintains relationships with drivers, operators, customer service and account contacts.
• Partners with Regional and Corporate Sales Managers on market and sales planning.
• Meets or exceeds sales call activity goals.
• Matches Waste Pro services to customer needs.
• Develops customer base by calling on prospects and sites.
• Ensures customer satisfaction through direct communication and feedback solicitation.
• Drives contract acquisition, retention, and renewal.
• Keeps Salesforce updated; forecasts revenue opportunities.
